In Idaho this year it is a picture that is quite embarrassing. Our legislative body gave a seminar on how to waste time while influencing people. Armed with what the republicans think was a mandate from their constituents, was actually a figment of personal and party line topics designed to provide the democrats with the gotcha factor.
Watching the childish behaviors of the elected officials this year on both side’s democrat and republican were lessons that you would want your small children to ignore. Sleeping and reading the news paper while our business was being conducted was embarrassing while news media covered the big events.
The constituents were not listened to this year. Most were against some form of the bills, but, they were rammed though into law. Just go home give us a break from wasting our money and maybe you will get some wisdom and probably realize how idiotic you behaved.
