Terry Reilly health services will operate the new Detoxification and mental health crisis center located in Boise Idaho. Ribbon cutting means that now there will be a place that people can go to sober up from alcohol and drugs, when they will then go to ongoing treatment.
The Allumbaugh house is the alternative to going to jail or to the mental health units of our local hospitals. The center can house up to 16 clients currently with room to expand. It is a joint venture between Boise, Meridian and Ada County. St. Alphonsus and St. Luke’s health systems are also partners. The facility opens in early May 2010.
