The PTC Index continues to show some positive signs among real estate variables in the month of October. New Homes Sales for Ada and Canyon Counties report an 11% increase when compared to September as well as a slight increase in Refinance volumes.
Ada and Canyon County’s Notice of Default filings are down over 25% collectively from October filings but only show minimal decreases when compared to the same period of 2009. REO and Short sale listings show small improvements with inventory inching down 1.75%. We expect further stabilization, but October has brought some encouraging numbers.
